Pronunciation tips
To help you develop a great Spanish accent, here are two pronunciation tips:
Pronunciation tip 1: Make sure your ‘h’ in the word ‘habitación’ is silent: habitación.
Pronunciation tip 2: Avoid adding a short ‘u’ at the end of words ending in ‘o’.
Remember that the Spanish ‘o’ has a pure, single sound. Notice how those words are said by native speakers: no, todo, ocupado.
And now, let’s do a listening drill. Can you tell me what these 10 words and expressions mean?
