Terms of Use

  1. Refund policy
    All digital products and subscriptions sold directly by KERAPIDO.COM come with a 30-day guarantee, with two exceptions:

    i. The Quiz Challenge product carries a 7-day refund window rather than a 30-day window.

    ii. Speaking tool subscriptions (any product within the KERAPIDO.COM speaking tool family) are non-refundable. The reasons for this exclusion are set out in section 17.

    To get a refund for a product covered by the 30-day or 7-day guarantee, please contact us through the Contact link on the bottom menu. You must include the invoice number, product name, and total amount, in your message. Those details appear on the invoice you received at the time of purchase.

  2. Replacement policy
    KERAPIDO.COM recommends that you keep a copy of any digital products purchased and downloaded directly from KERAPIDO.COM in a safe place. If you need a replacement copy, log into your account and download your files again.

  3. Terms
    You are prohibited from using any Content (referred to in these Terms of Use as “materials”) (including any recording, text, video content, caption information, keywords or other metadata associated with the Content) for any machine learning and/or artificial intelligence purposes.

    By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

  4. Use License
    Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on KERAPIDO.COM’s web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

    • i. modify or copy the materials;
    • ii. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
    • iii. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on KERAPIDO.COM’s web site;
    • iv. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

    This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by KERAPIDO.COM at any time.     The materials on KERAPIDO.COM’s web site are provided “as is”. KERAPIDO.COM makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, KERAPIDO.COM does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

  6. Limitations
    In no event shall KERAPIDO.COM or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on KERAPIDO.COM’s Internet site, even if KERAPIDO.COM or a KERAPIDO.COM authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

    “Lifetime access” guarantees that the course will be available to you for no less than six months from the day you subscribe. In the event that KERAPIDO.COM were to cease trading, you may receive a partial refund for the days remaining on the first six months of your active Spanish course subscription. Once your subscription has run for longer than six months no refund will be issued for any remaining days.

  7. Submitted questions
    As a course subscriber or speaking tool subscriber, you are encouraged to submit questions related to your course content or your speaking tool through its submission form. KERAPIDO.COM will endeavour to answer the most relevant and widely applicable questions. Highly specific questions, or those requiring extensive explanations, may not be addressed within the scope of your course or tool. This policy is in place to ensure a focused and valuable learning experience for all students.

  8. Revisions and Errata
    The materials appearing on KERAPIDO.COM’s web site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. KERAPIDO.COM does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. KERAPIDO.COM may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. KERAPIDO.COM does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

  9. Links
    KERAPIDO.COM has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by KERAPIDO.COM of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user’s own risk.

    Any claim relating to KERAPIDO.COM’s web site shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

  14. Speaking tool audio recording
    The KERAPIDO.COM speaking tools require your spoken responses to be recorded so that the tool can grade them and so that Maria Fernandez can review your audio when preparing your personal feedback. By starting a free trial or paid subscription to any KERAPIDO.COM speaking tool you are giving your explicit consent to the recording, storage, and analysis of your spoken responses for these purposes. Audio recording cannot be disabled while you are subscribed to a speaking tool. If you do not wish to be recorded, please do not subscribe.

    Each recording is kept for a maximum of 90 days from the date it was made and is then deleted automatically. You may request the deletion of your stored recordings at any time by contacting us through the Contact link on the bottom menu. Requesting the deletion of stored recordings may result in the termination of your speaking tool subscription, as the tool cannot function without them. Termination on these grounds does not entitle you to a refund except where required by applicable law.

  15. Anonymised use of speaking tool audio
    Short anonymised excerpts of your spoken responses, together with the corresponding text transcript and the verdict given by the tool, may be used by Maria Fernandez to prepare teaching material for other speaking tool subscribers. Anonymised means that no name, email address, country, or other personally identifying information is shared with other subscribers. This use is limited to teaching contexts within the KERAPIDO.COM speaking tools and is not used in public marketing.

  16. Speaking tool free trial
    Each KERAPIDO.COM speaking tool offers a free trial of 24 hours from the moment you first use the tool. No payment details are required to start the trial. At the end of the 24-hour window the tool will stop working unless you subscribe to a paid plan. You will receive a personal end-of-trial report by email summarising your sessions during the trial. Only one free trial is available per person per speaking tool.

  17. No refunds on speaking tool subscriptions
    Speaking tool subscriptions are excluded from the 30-day refund guarantee that applies to other KERAPIDO.COM products. This exclusion is in place because each speaking tool session incurs immediate third-party processing costs that cannot be recovered after the session has run. The 24-hour free trial described in section 16 exists so that you can decide whether the tool suits you before subscribing. By subscribing to a KERAPIDO.COM speaking tool you confirm that you understand and accept this no-refund policy, and where applicable under UK or EU consumer protection law you waive any statutory right of withdrawal in relation to the digital content of the tool, which is supplied immediately upon subscription.
