Today you’re going to learn and practice 10 very useful words.

Today’s question comes from Blanche, one of my newsletter subscribers. Blanche asked me a few days ago: “How do you say ‘to walk’, ‘to run’, ‘to arrive’ and verbs like that in Spanish?”

Spanish verbs that express motion: intro

To help Blanche, and to help you, I’ve made a list of ten very common Spanish verbs that express motion. With this lesson, you’re going to master those ten words.

Let’s hear them. Repeat them after me:

andar, to walk
caminar, to stroll
correr, to run
ir, to go
llegar, to arrive
mover, to move
salir, to go out
seguir, to follow
venir, to come
volver, to return

Let’s say them again. Repeat after me.

Knowing common words like this will help you communicate in Spanish more easily. Let’s do some drills, so you can learn them well.
