EPISODE TRANSCRIPT
Today you’re going to discover some clothes in Spanish. Our question comes from Henrietta, one of my Twitter followers. Henrietta sent me a message saying: “I’m going to Spain on vacation next month, and I’d like to buy some clothes when I’m there. Could you do an episode on clothes?”

Clothes in Spanish: listen & speak
To help you get familiar with this topic, today we’re going to learn and practice 10 new words. In other episodes I’ll give you sentences with those words. For now, we’re just going to concentrate on the new vocabulary. Repeat after me:
el abrigo, the coat
el bañador, the swimming costume – the swimming trunks
el calcetín, the sock
el vestido, the dress
la camisa, the shirt
la camiseta, the T-shirt
la falda, the skirt
la gorra, the cap
los pantalones, the trousers
los zapatos, the shoes
Let’s say them once more. Make sure you pronounce them just like me.
